How to install frameless glass door?
Similar to framed glass door, there are majorly 8 steps to install frameless glass door.
1.
Line positioning before installation, both for fixed glass partition and for moving panel, determine the door hole and frame position, and acuratelly measuring the height from the floor to the top of door frame.
2. Install the limit slot on top of door frame: by the central line leaded to both end of decoration panel edge, then install the limit slot on top of door frame according to the edge lines.
3. Install the square wood bottom by nailing it onto the preburried wood brick, or by using expansion bolt, to install it on the ground, and then using glue mortar to stick it onto the ground.
4. Installl vertical door frame post according to the certer line, then using plywood to settle the dimension and position of door frame post, pack with metal decoration panel.
5. Installation of moving of frameless glass door:using glass suction cups (or glass suction machine) to hold the glass tight and firm, with 2~3 persons lifting glass panel and moving to the installing location.
6. Nail two wood sticks from both inner and outer side of square wood bottom to hold the glass panel in the middle, leaving 4mm gap to the glass panel. Then injecting glue on the sticks to paste the metal panel on the square wood bottom and sticks.
7. Inject glass glue to the top slot inner gap and to the bottom gap, and also to the gap between glass panel and door frame post.
8. Joints of frameless glass door fixed panel are inevitable, because the width required two or more panels to join together, which should be leaving 2~3mm distance between panels.
